AMTD completes US$200mm 3yrs notes debut issuance for EBSHK

On 14 Nov 2018, Everbright Sun Hung Kai Company Limited(“EBSHK” or the “Company”) successfully priced its US$200m 3-year fixed rate senior notes (the “Transaction”). This is EBSHK’s debut USD bond offering. AMTD acted as a Joint Bookrunner and Joint Lead Manager on the transaction.

EBSHK provided a guarantee to the Transaction. Everbright Sun Hung Kai Company Limited is rated Baa3 Stable by Moody’s. The Transaction is rated Baa3 by Moody’s, which is a drawdown under its US$1.0 billion Medium Term Notes programme.

Initial price guidance was set at 5.40%, the final orderbook reached a peak of over US$700m, allowing the final price guidance to tighten to 5.20%-5.25%.

AMTD has been serving for Everbright Securities and Sun Hung Kai & Co. Ltd for years and is dedicated to providing professional investment banking services, including the completion of US$360mm liability arrangement and USD 5-year bond offering for Sun Hung Kai & Co Ltd in May 2016 as the Joint Global Coordinator, Joint Bookrunner and Joint Lead Manager, AMTD also led the listing of Everbright Securities' H-share IPO in August 2016 and completed US$400mm 5-year senior bond offering for Sun Hung Kai & Co Ltd, with AMTD acting as the Joint Global Coordinator, Joint Bookrunner and Joint Lead Manager in August 2017.

AMTD has served multiple Chinese and overseas financial institutions to conduct fundraising in the international capital markets since 2016. Apart from this offering, AMTD has also completed USD bond offerings for CDB Aviation, China Huarong (2799.HK), China Minsheng Bank (1988.HK), Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (600000.SH), Bank of Jinzhou (0416.HK), Bank of Zhengzhou (6196.HK), Bank of Qingdao (3866.HK), Sun Hung Kai & Co.
