AMTD Preview | University of Waterloo 122nd Convocation in 2021

Dominic Barton, Chancellor of the University of Waterloo and Canada's Ambassador to the People's Republic of the China, requests the honour of your presence in celebrating the university’s one hundred and twenty second convocation for the conferment of degrees in a special live, online ceremony. The University of Waterloo is proud to honour the many accomplishments of our 2021 graduates and will mark this milestone with a virtual convocation ceremony.

During the convocation, Calvin Choi, Chairman of AMTD Group and Founder of AMTD Charity Foundation, will be conferred upon the honorary doctorate degree by the Faculty of Mathematics. The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo is world renowned and has the world's largest research center in mathematics. Mr. Choi will also serve as a keynote speaker to deliver a speech to the graduating class.
